Hello!
Welcome back to the official Mr. Enter newsletter! We wanted to start by thanking you for your reception and viewership to the Out of Jimmy's Head review; it's probably the most views a video's gotten in the first 24 hours in quite some time! John obviously leaned into the anger a bit more than usual with this one, which people seem to have liked for the most part! We also wanted to thank the Mr. Enter Wiki for keeping everything neat and up to date; it's a pretty good source if you're interested in Mr. Enter! As my own contribution, I'll clarify that Out of Jimmy's Head isn't part of Animated Atrocities; it's actually its own standalone review! We're curious if anyone noticed the increasing number of ducks as the review went on?
Mr. Enter's next review will be Mulan 2020, which he's been watching today as well as last night and commenting about in the team's private Discord server. He says this movie is awful, frustrating, has a terrible message, has terrible circumstances surrounding it, makes no sense, is less realistic than the original animated movie, and is possibly the worst movie he's ever seen even beating out Strange Magic; look forward to that review, of course!
The secret project is coming along really well. We still aren't ready to tell you much, but we can tell you that this is a creative project, it's not a cartoon, and as of now (2 weeks since it's began) we already have 238 pages of significant documentation and 27 drawings surrounding it, with both counting as we speak; I'm pretty sure for pages in particular this is actually more than we saw for GA-related stuff throughout all of 2021. This is the most motivated I've ever seen John to work on a project including GA, and we really think it's coming out great; we're excited to show you when it's in a more presentable form! I'll also share another drawing below! Fun fact: we've actually already technically shown you this character in a previous drawing; can you guess who it is?
Me and Kota will get back to work on the Q&A in a few days; I've been working on editing and Kota's recuperating after having had Covid so we're both a bit tired out. Thanks again for all the questions, like I said we've been really surprised at the response! We also posted Down to Business on the extra channel which we're glad you liked and we'd love to hear more thoughts on, be they good or bad!
As our final topic, we'd love to encourage you all to post fanart of Mr. Enter, Growing Around, or any other related topics! Starting with the next newsletter, we'll share one piece of fanart we've liked at the end of each post, provided there's at least one to consider since the last newsletter! We're excited to see what you come up with!
That's about it for today's newsletter! Everyone on the team is really motivated and in a really good mood, and there's a lot of fun stuff planned or coming out over 2022; it's been a great year so far (especially compared to the trainwreck that was 2021) and we're excited to see what's in store for it! Thanks for tuning in to the Mr. Enter newsletter; have a good day, night, or whatever else, and remember to never eat your Brussels Sprouts! -Cerra

My guess is that the secret project is a Graphic Novel.

I personally liked the idea for Mulan 2020, a fantasy action-adventure epic more based on the original legend of Mulan rather than the animated film. However, the movie failed drastically in execution. And there is already a much better live action Mulan film way back in 2009 that was actually made in China. Funimation (yes, they release live action films too, like Shin Godzilla and Mulan 2009) released an English dub of this film and I highly recommend it. Also, Nausicaä was renamed to Mulan in the Chinese versions of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Chinese audiences didn't like either Disney Mulan that much and both 1998 and 2020 movies bombed (though the 1998 film did get a following later on) but they do really love Nausicaä, which is still seen by Chinese audiences as the best Mulan movie despite being Mulan in name only. And Disney is the distributor of Studio Ghibli films in China, so Nausicaä is the only Disney Mulan film to ever be successful in China despite Disney only distributing the film internationally and despite the fact that Nausicaä was Mulan in Chinese name only. In the Cantonese version of Nausicaä, Sandy Lam also sang a vocal version of the main instrumental theme of the movie with unique lyrics exclusively for the Cantonese dub. And she would later sing a Cantonese cover of Take My Breath Away (originally from Top Gun) for Wong Kar Wai's first film As Tears Go By in 1988. The Take My Breath Away scene in As Tears Go By may just be one of the best scenes in all of cinema and it used the song much better than the film it was originally written for, and Top Gun already had a great Take My Breath Away scene. Wow. . . Mulan 2020 is EVEN Worse than Strange Magic?!!!
A Film So Bad; He Said it was even worse than Drawn together: The Movie; The Emoji Movie; Norm of the North, Mars needs Moms, Shark Tale, & Chicken Little. . . and that he'd rather watch those movies back-to-back than ever Re-watch that movie in His Review of Strange Magic!
I Wonder How The Big D Pulled Off Screwing up a Movie so much, that they made it even WORSE than Strange Magic was!!

Mulan 2020? Well, I hope he won't drop some random comment about China that makes people accuse him of bad things again.

I Wonder How The Big D Pulled Off Screwing up a Movie so much, that they made it even WORSE than Strange Magic was!! A movie that supports real life genocide is automatically grounds for being a very terrible film. It's an atrocity of a film in the most literal of ways. This is the modern equivalent of Hollywood making a film in support of the Holocaust. Since the situation in Xinjiang (which the film supported) is pretty much the Holocaust but with the Chinese Communist Party instead of the Nazis and Uyghur Muslims as well as non-conforming Chinese citizens instead of Jews, the Romani and homosexual people. If only someone in Hollywood had the balls to make a film in protest of the Chinese Communist Party and their crimes. We desperately need the modern equivalent of The Great Dictator, which is still one of the best films of all time and is very relevant today. And for additional context in that film, it was a film made in protest of the Nazis when Nazi Germany was one of Hollywood's biggest markets and other people were afraid of going against the Nazis. The Great Dictator was a massive hit that would inspire Americans to help fight the Nazis for the freedom of Europe. And it's such a shame, a Mulan remake would have been a great way to make the modern equivalent of The Great Dictator. And they could have written the script in a way that would inspire the world and especially the Chinese people to fight against the oppression of the Chinese Communist Party. If the CCP bans the film, then so be it, piracy is very common in China so people would just buy bootleg DVDs or go to pirate streams for the film.

Making a movie about modern-day China would be difficult considering the political landscape. No one wants to be called a racist (or a Trump supporter, remember he was openly critical of the country) for pointing out the problems there.

-Cerra I would say that Mulan 2020 might be the worst film of all time just from the fact that it supports the real life genocide of Uyghur Muslims. This would be like making a movie in support of the Holocaust. It would be terrible even if it has everything else going for it. If Hollywood had made a moving epic with stunning cinematography, a captivating story, memorable characters, gorgeous landscapes, and a beautiful soundtrack, while actively endorsing the Nazis and the genocide of the Jews, the Romani and homosexuals. It would be the worst film of all time even with all of its merits. Everything other flaw in the Mulan remake was just piss on the shit cake.

No one wants to be called a racist (or a Trump supporter, remember he was openly critical of the country) for pointing out the problems there. Yes. If the PC crazies were around during World War II, they would've cancelled Charlie Chaplin for making The Great Dictator. They would say Chaplin is being racist towards Germans and Italians. Executives would actively go against producing or distributing the film. And you know what? Chaplin financed The Great Dictator all by himself because he knew no Hollywood studio back then would even dare to go against the Nazis, especially since Nazi Germany was one of the most lucrative markets for films. No filmmaker or actor nowadays is as brave as Charlie Chaplin was to fight against an evil dictatorship. They are afraid of being called racist. They are afraid of getting cancelled. They are afraid of alienating a lucrative market. They are afraid to fight against evil.
