I made my own fan script, I hope y'all enjoy it
It's the late evening, the sky is yellow and orange. There is a fair going, many kids and adults are in the background playing games, running around, standing in long lines, and screaming in joy on roller coasters. We see Sally, Molly, and April walking around. April is holding a large stick of cotton candy, Molly is angrily pouting holding a tiny rubber octopus, and Sally is dragging a huge stuffed unicorn on the ground with a wide smile on her face.
Molly: I just can't believe this is all I got!
April: Oh come on dear, at least you got something
Molly: I guess, but look at Sally's prize
Sally: It's just pure skill! Where should we go next?
April: Hmmm, how about-OW!
A rock hits April in the side of the head while she's talking. They all look down at the rock and see that it has a sticky note with an arrow drawn on top pointing straight. When they look up to see what it's pointing to, they see what looks to be a child creeping their head outside of a tent that is purple and signs around it that say “see your future” “Come one come ALL!” “Go inside here!” “You won’t believe your eyes” and they can only see the kids' eyes. The child quickly dashes inside.
Sally: Maybe we should go there. (Sally points to the tent)
April: Don’t you know all those types of “Future reading” people are a bunch of phonies. And also, THEY HIT ME WITH A ROCK!
Molly jumps back a bit when April starts yelling.
Sally: Oh come on, it could be fuuuuun.
April crosses her arms and sighs
April:(looks towards Molly)Do you want to go?
Molly: Uhh, sure!
Sally: YES!
The three of them walk into the tent. Inside there are three chairs for the girls to sit right in front of their eyes. There are a bunch of voodoo dolls hanging on the fabric of the tent. The table has a red table cloth on it. There are many candles scattered around the table. There’s a stack of cards on the left part of the table. A crystal sits in the middle of the table. And across the table sits a girl about 14-15 years old with her eyes closed, she has a red scarf on her head with a gem and feather in the middle of it, her torso is covered with a light purple shirt, and thin dark purple jacket, she’s wearing a skirt with stars on it.
Voodoo girl: Ahhh, I've been expecting you.
April:(Mad with crossed arms) You knew we were coming.
Voodoo girl: Yes I did, using my mind.
April: We weren't born yesterday. We saw you look at-
The Voodoo girl covers Aprils mouth with her middle and index finger
Voodoo girl: Shhhhhhhhhhh, sit sit.
The girls sit down
Voodoo girl: My name is Crystal. What would you like to see?
April: Well-
Crystal:(Opens eyes)Wait! 10 trading cards please.
Crystal pulls out her hand. Molly and Sally dig into their pockets and pull out their trading cards.
April: That’s so expensive!
Crystal: Ah HA! I’d predicted you’d be angry.
Molly: Wow...she’s good.
April: What!?
Crystal: Cards.
Crystal pulls out her hand closer to April and April angrily reaches into her pocket and pulls out the trading cards she owns and slams it on Crystal's hand while staring daggers in Crystal's eyes not once looking away. Crystal puts her hand back down.
Molly:(Waves arm rapidly) Oh Oh Me.
Crystal: What would you like to know?
Molly: I...Ummm...well...what's my name?
Crystal: That’s easy it’s, uh
Crystal makes noises and looks at Molly's facial expressions to she if she gets it right, eventually she says Molly
Molly: WOAH! You're right.
Crystal: Of course I am, You!(Points to Sally) You want to know something very important don’t you.
Sally: Yep. I want to know what I’m gonna be like when I grow up. What type of friends will I have, will I have the same friends, what games will I play, do I get married, if so then who, and-
Crystal puts her index and middle finger on Sally's mouth.
Crystal: Shhh shhh shhh. I need to focus, My, oh my, oh no no no no.
Sally: What?
Crystal: This is no good. What I see in your future is nothing what you believed. You forgot what fun is, your only friend is suuuuuuuper boring. Teachers and adults hate you at school. You have three kids and one baby, (Rolls her eyes)and they're not that great. Your husband, oh your husband. He is a complete idiot and…( She looks at her nails that are painted yellow) he has...blonde hair.
Sally: Huuuu?! Do-do I know them?
Crystal:*Unsure* Uh, yeah.
Sally looks behind her and sees Steve walking and talking with Neven.
April: What A rip off, you're lying. Come on guys let's go.
As Molly and April stand up Sally stays sitting with a horrified face staring out side of the tent
Molly: Sally?
Sally: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Sally jumps out of the chair and dashes away screaming, leaving her stuffed toy behind.
April: Sally, wait!
Molly slowly reaches her hand for the unicorn but then April slaps it away
Molly: Hey
April grabs Molly's wrist and runs after Sally.
Sally runs to the parking lot and goes straight to here car and gets inside and start driving home
Sally:*Shaking and unconfident*April was right, April was really really right. That girl was a liar. Just a dumb liar. It’s not real. It won’t come true.
Sally arrives home and opens her door, Autumn is reading a book and Robert is playing a video game.
Autumn: Oh hi Sally, you're here earlier than I expected.
Robert: How was your time at the fair kid?
Sally:*Flustered*The fair? Oh yeah it was great, super great, the greatest, great great great great great great great great great-.
She walks upstairs while saying great, Autumn and Robert look at each other concerned. Then Sally ends up on the top of the stairs.
Sally: Great great great GREAT!...Night.
Autumn: But it’s 7:00-
Sally: I said night!
Sally runs to her room and slammed the door. Cut to the middle of the night now and Sally keeps tossing and turning in her bed. The screen goes on a close up on Sally’s face then goes to black and then goes back to a close up on Sally's face, and now we enter a dream sequence.
:SALLY!
Sally’s eyes burst wide open and she looks to the door. Except it's not her door, or room for that matter. The walls are a light gray, the door is black, the floor is a white carpet, and her bed is dark gray. The footsteps get louder and louder until the door is swung right open to show three kids. Two girls and one boy all about the age of 8. The girls have blonde hair and the boy has brown hair.
All kids: SALLY!
Sally: AH!(looks at covers)AHH!
Next to her a figure that she hadn't seen yet pops up and looks at her. It’s Steve.
Steve: What’s the matter honey.
Sally: AHH!(Falls off bed)
Sally runs to the bathroom and the house she’s in is like her house but completely black, white, and boring. She finds the bathroom and then looks in the mirror and sees an older version of her, but instead of her actually looking older it looks more like a child's head and neck is on an adult's body. All the adults look like this in this dream.
Sally: Wha-What happened to me?
Steve: You just woke up honey, you’re not gonna look the best.
Sally: No, I’m supposed to be a kid.
Steve: Oh sweetheart, that ended a long time ago.
: *Loud Crying*
Sally: What's that?
Steve: Oh that’s the baby.
All the kids:(Off screen)SALLY, GET OUR BABY BROTHER NOW!
Sally jolts as the kids talk then runs downstairs once they’re done talking. She goes downstairs and sees a baby carriage with a baby boy inside of it with brown hair.
Sally: Uhh-I-Uhh shhh shhh
Then the baby starts to cry louder. Steve walks down the stairs.
Sally:*Sad* Can you please help me?
Steve: Sorry I got my arms stuck in the pants holes and my legs stuck in my shirt.
Sally: Oh.
All the kids: SALLY!
Sally:*Flustered* Yes?!
Girl child 1:Make us Breakfast, brunch, lunch, linner, dinner, and don’t forget the dessert!
Girl child 2:Polish my video games!
Boy child: Clean the roof of the house only using your toothbrush!
Sally: Wait, that's not even good for a child to command.
Girl 1 bites Sally.
Sally: OW! I’m going I’m going.
Sally then sinks through the floor and ends up in a school desk, a school that is also gray and boring.
Teacher: Sally, do you have your homework with you?
Sally: Homework? I didn’t know I had homework.
Teacher: Of course you didn’t Sally what else would I expect from the whole school's worst student.
The teacher points to the desk Sally's sitting at and it has a big star sticker on it that says “Worst Student “.
Teacher: Hey everyone! Let's laugh at Sally.
Everyone starts laughing at Sally especially Steve and Sally’s on the verge of tears.
Sally looks to her left to see a very boring looking man not laughing at her.
Boring man:*Monotone voice*Don’t worry Sally, at least you have me. Come on, let's play chess.
He pulls out a chess board.
Sally:(Jumps back)No, That's a boring adult game.
Boring man: But Sally, you are an adult.
Sally sinks through the floor again and ends up in her boring living room watching Boy child play a video game and it’s in color.
Sally: Can I play? Looks like fun.
Boy child: HAHAHA NO! Your adult brain wouldn't understand it.
Sally: I can play(Take the controller)
As Sally looks at the starting screen it starts to change, the once colorful and fun text is now gray and not even letters just blocks.
Boy child: See.
Sally: No, I love video games.
Boy child: Not anymore, you're an adult now, you can’t like this stuff anymore.
The boy child grabs the controller and starts to pull it away from her, but Sally tugs back.
Sally: NO! I can play it! Please!
Baby:*Offscreen and louder crying*
This gets Sally to let go of the controller. Once she lets go of the controller, green stink gas goes over where Sally is, she immediately covers her nose and mouth. She called out to Steve.
Sally: Can you get that?
We cut to Steve with his eyes on fire.
Steve: Oh sorry dear, my eyes are on fire you’re gonna have to get that.
Cut back to Sally sighing. She goes to the baby carriage and changes the dirty dipper, but it’s not visible to the audience. She takes off the dipper and runs to the front door where there's a trash can outside and she puts the dipper inside it. She looks up from the trash can and sees a rollercoaster that is very colorful and all of the kids now in this weird adult form she knows on the rollercoaster. We cut to April and Molly sitting in the roller coaster with Sally far in the background in front of her house.
April: Oh I’m so happy we're fun and not like Sally at all.
The roller coaster goes off and it cuts back to Sally.
Sally: Let me go on, wait WAIT!
She runs towards the roller coaster and it gets further and further away, then Sally is stopped by giant jail bars.
Boring man:*Offscreen*You can’t leave.
Sally looks behind her and sees and sees Steve, her kids, and the boring man standing like zombies
Boring man: You're an adult now, this is what your life is now(Pulls out a chess board)This is what you like now.
They all walk towards Sally, the kids shout commands, Steve says a bunch of thing that he wants Sally to help him with, and the boring man holds a chess board chanting “you want to play”
Sally: No no no No No No NO NO NO NO!
The dream sequence stops and she wakes up. It’s now morning and the sun is shining.
Sally: AHH!
Sally looks around her room, once again it’s colorful. Then it cuts to Sally, Molly, and April sitting on the curb outside of Sally's house. Sally has a disturbed look on her face and she’s shaking.
Molly: Jezz, what an odd dream.
April: Yes, an odd, not real dream. Don’t get scared darling.
Sally: But, but, but, the, the baby, and the school, and the coaster, and the Steve, and the-
April: Yes yes, we know. Please, allow us to think about this rationally. Does Steve even like-like you?
Sally: Ha, no, I guess not.
Sally’s face turns from shocked and shaky to a shaky smile. Then all of a sudden, Steve appears with the stuffed unicorn Sally lost at the fair yesterday.
Steve: Hey Sally, I saw you lose this at the fair, so I wanted to give this to you-
Sally's face is in pure shock and she starts screaming. Because of Sally's scream Steve falls on his back out of shock and Sally gets off the curb and runs over Steve and runs off screen. There are three seconds of silence.
Molly & April:....
Steve: Ow.
Cuts back to Sally running on the sidewalk in her neighborhood. There's a lot of stores in the background, and she's bumping into people on the sidewalk.
Sally: That can’t be my future, it just can't be.(Starts to stop running) How can I stop this from happening.
Sally looks sad at the ground and then looks up at the store window she’s in front of. She sees a poster on the window that says “Help wantet stunt dooble. Call 555-565-stunt” Sally's eye begin to shin when she sees that poster and she start to slowly smile.
Sally: I can change my future if I change what happens now! If I do super exciting stuff right now I will be happy when I’m an adult and can't possibly forget how to have fun!
Sally pulls out her phone, calls the number, and runs off screen. The next scene a bunch of ruckus is going on and Sally is sitting in a chair outside and wearing a superhero outfit next to other kids wearing different superhero outfits, some of them are reading, talking, or drinking hot chocolate. Sally signed up for an action movie stunt double roll. Sally is wearing a green leotard and boots, red cap and leggings, and a green and red facemask split right down the middle and it only covers her eyes. Sally watches the actors rehearse their lines as the cameras roll. The actor dressed like her is in a large catapult and is tied up.
Actor hero: I will never tell you where the ruby is!
Actor villain: Fine! Have it your way, but if you don’t talk I will not hold back.
Director: CUT! Get the stunt double in here.
People crowded around Sally and a cartoon ball of dust surrounds her, she now has rope around her arms. They carry her to the catapult and toss her in.
Sally: Uhhh, is there something I can land on?
Director: Probably, ACTION!
Sally is launched out of the catapult and becomes a twinkle in the sky. Then it cuts to April and Molly.
Molly: Jee, I hope Sally’s ok.
April: I know, I haven't seen her all day.
Molly: Well, hopefully she got over that whole future thing...what’s with da mattress?
She points to a dirty pink mattress confused. Then Sally falls behind April and Molly, not landing on the Mattress at all. The scene switches to Sally, Molly, and April at the mall. Molly walks out of a store holding a box of first-aid stuff so they can fix Sally. April is rapping those long tape band-aids around Sally's arm with an irate look on her face and both April and Sally are sitting on a bench.
Sally: Look, maybe if I explain it one more time-
April: No, no explaining, this simply needs to stop, that is all.
Sally: But-
April: No buts!
April grabs the first-aid kit out of Molly’s hands and puts it on Sally. In the distance there's three valley looking girls hanging around by a water fountain. They look about Sally's age, but they're wearing so much makeup they look like they’re in their teens.
Sally:(Inner monologue)I don’t want to be boring. I don’t want to be boring. I don’t want to be boring.
April: There, I think we're done,(Looks away from Sally)now let's get some ice cream, and because of this you’ll be paying.(Looks back to where Sally is and notices she’s gone)Oh where did she go now?!
Molly points to Sally standing where the valley girls are sitting, then it cuts over to Sally.
April:(In the distance)OH COME ON!
Sally: So with all that being said, umm can I hang out with you.
Valley girl 1:Umm, like, uhh, whatever I guess.
Sally: Great!
Sally sits next to the valley girl on the left and the valley girls start to chat, she has a huge smile on her face.
Valley girl 1:So then like he said what and I said like yeah, then me and Rachel were like ew and he was like-
Cut to the valley girls and Sally walking through the mall, Sally's holding a bunch of bags for the girls, she can barely see and her smile has dwindled.
Valley girl 2:I know right but there was, like too much going on so like me and her, like decided to like-
Cuts to the valley girls and Sally sitting at a table. Sally has a straight face instead of her smile. She’s has more bags around her
Valley girl 3:Then I like opened the door with the like can opener then he was like, what are you doing here and I was like-
Cut to the valley girls walking outside of the mall, Sally is behind them and she looks annoyed, she has even more bags behind her.
Valley girl 1:So like, that's when(Her phone beeps)Woops, looks like it’s time to go.
All the valley girls rush and grab the bags Sally’s holding and Sally falls on her butt.
All valley girls: Beyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
They start walking away.
Sally: So can I hang out with you more?
Valley girl 1:Oh, you're still here, whatever.
The valley girls finally walk off screen. Sally fist pumps the air then falls on her back out of exhaustion. April and Molly walk out of the mall and look at Sally.
April: Sally what was that even for, you look just miserable and exhausted.
Sally: Oh, they're fine. I just wanted more friends.
April looks at Sally like she’s crazy and Molly looks at Sally confused.
Sally: They're interesting.
April looks at Sally like she’s crazy and Molly looks at Sally confused.
Sally: They're… nice.
April looks at Sally like she’s crazy and Molly looks at Sally confused.
Sally: Look, they don’t like chess, that is the only important thing right now.
Molly: So you're just going on a spree to make sure your dream doesn't happen?
Sally: Yes! Thank you, see April, she gets it.
Molly: I get it but I don’t like it.
April: So what are you going to do...Sally no.
Sally: I need to.
April: Sally no!
Sally:(Gets up from the ground)I have to.
April: Sally NO!
Molly starts to look concerned.
Sally:(Starts to run away)It’s for my future!
April and Molly start running after her.
April: SALLY NO!
Cut to Sally at a skatepark sitting at a handmade booth with a sign over her that says “Will you be my boyfriend?” With a nervous, unsure smile. Most people walk past and ignore it. But a boy, about the same age as Sally with a sideways red hat, black hair, a green flannel shirt, and ripped jeans stops by.
Flannel boy:...You want someone to be your boyfriend?
Sally:(No hesitation) Yes!
Flannel boy:...Can I?
Sally:(No hesitation) Yes!
Flannel boy: Cool.
They stand in silence for a while.
Sally: Sooooo, what do boyfriends and girlfriends do?
Flannel boy: My brother hangs out with his girlfriend, maybe we should hang out.
Sally: Cool! What do you want to do?
Cut to the both of them looking down at the top of a ramp, it looks terrifying. There are spikes coming out of the ramp, fire everywhere, there skulls on sticks, kids passed out, an ambulance truck blaring in the background, kids crying, smoke everywhere that makes the shape of satin, and clouds because of how high they are. They’re both on the same skateboard.
Flannel boy: Now this is cool, ready?
Sally: Uhh.
Flannel boy: Great!
They set off. Sally screams the entire time. They doge spikes left and right and run over a bunch of kids. They go in the air and upside down at some moments, and a bird hits Sally in the face. As two hospital workers load a kid into an ambulance truck they run over that kid and one of the hospital workers yells at them. Flannel boy and Sally reach the end of the ramp and go back down and run over one of the workers. After a while Sally falls off the ramp and lands on the ground with cartoon dead eyes, two hospital workers (Not the same ones on the ramp) walks up to her with those electric medical things and rubs them together.
Worker: Clear.
They electrocute Sally and she wakes up burnt to a crisp. The workers walk away and Molly and April show up, April crossing her arms.
April: Sally. What. Was. That.
Sally: I was hanging out with my new boyfriend.
April: What's. Their. Name?
Sally:...Flannel kid.
April: That's it! We're going to your house. You need to get your mind off this.
April drags Sally by the collar of her shirt and starts to walk away and Molly follows. Cut to the three of them sitting on Sally’s couch. Molly and April are closer together on the couch playing “Craft Mine”, Sally huddled at the end of the couch not paying attention to the game they were playing on the TV. Molly has the controller.
April:*Sigh of relief*Isn’t this nice Sally. Just having fun.
April waited for Sally’s response but she didn’t answer, then someone knocked on the door.
Sally:*Gasp*It's here!
Sally jumps off the couch and dashes to the door. Molly and April pops their head over the couch and sees Sally sign a piece of paper and a giant wooden box gets shoved through the door. Sally rapidly opens the box.
Molly: Sally...what's that?
Sally: It’s lots of books about rituals people used to do when they wanted to have kids in the future.
April: When was the last time these books were even used?
Sally: The 14th century.
Molly and April look at each other very worryingly.
April: Would you excuse us for just a second?
Both of them dash to the kitchen.
Molly: I’m worried about her.
April: Oh when did that happen? The first or second time she tried to kill herself.
Molly: Has to be the first.
April: I just don’t know what to do, that stupid son of a witch broke her mind and know she's completely insane. If only that girl just told her she lied.
Molly: Wait! The fair’s still in town. If we get that girl to come over and say she lied this whole mess will be over.
April:*Gasp*You’re right! We have no time to lose.
They get out of the kitchen and see Sally waring a paper hat and a bunch of jewelry with paper snowflakes on the ground praying while biting her tongue.
April: We REALLY have no time to lose.
Cut to Crystal on her phone looking bored as hell in her tent. April and Molly bust through the tent, with April staring daggers at her. Crystal quickly drops her phone and goes to meditating mode.
Crystals: I’ve been expecting-
April grabs her by the shirt and drags her across the table to look at her straight in the eye.
April: You owe our friend an apology.
Crystal: Uhhhhh.
April: Yesterday, you hurt my friend with your LIES!.
Crystal:*Confused*Was she the one with a green bole cut or the girl with the unicorn stuffed animal?
April: Stuffed animal.
Crystal: Oh yeah. Well sorry that's not my problem, it’s funny to mess with people sometimes.
Molly: You were really rude now my friend is crazy, please just tell her you lied.
Crystal:*Sighs*Fine. On one condition. Twenty trading cards, each.
April: TW- grrrrr FINE!
April drops the girl. Cut to Crystal, Molly, and April walking to Sally’s house and on the yard they see Sally doing a handstand wearing a bunch of God like robes, with a circle spray painted around her. The books are upside down, Crystal starts to snicker. April grabs Crystal and drags her to Sally.
Sally: Oh hi guys, how’s it going?
Sally falls on her stomach.
April: Go on, say it.
Crystal: Look, I was messing with you. I don’t actually know the future, reading is just a good way to make money.
Molly: See Sally, nothing to worry about.
Sally gets up from the ground and for a moment she's quiet, then she starts to spiral, the people that were in her dream start to echo in her head and get louder and louder.
Sally: NO!
Molly: What, no the girl is telling the truth.
Sally: Even if she is wh-what if it's worse than I thought! Like instead of having 4 kids I have 80. And instead of having 1 boring friend I have no friends. What If the second I turn 18 everything goes to Heck. I don’t want that to happen.
Molly: Sally it won’t-
Sally: But what if it does?
Sally puts her hands to her head and looks like she's about to cry, she runs to her house.
April: Sally!
Molly: I don’t think we can get through to her, let's try again tomorrow.
Crystal: So, about my payment.
Crystal gives a cocky grin and both April and Molly dig into their pockets, mad as hell.
It’s now night time and cut to Autumn, Max, and Robert in the kitchen. Autumn is taking something out of the oven and they're all talking and having a good time in general. Then Sally burst into the kitchen with a determined smile.
Robert: Hey Sally, how’s it going? We haven't seen you all day.
Sally:(No hesitation)Guess what, we're moving!
All except Sally: WHAT!
Autumn drops what she took out of the oven.
Sally: Yep, we’re moving to New Stork!
Max: Sally, you're joking right.
Sally: Nope.
Max: Sally, I have a business here, mom and dad's friends-Your friends-Your job! Why would you think this is a good idea?
Sally: I have to think about all our futures, especially mine.
Max: Ok, fine, I'll amuse you. How will you get the money to leave home?
Sally: Easy, I stole your wallet. I already bought 4 plane tickets.
She pulls out the wallet and tickets.
Max: Oh you little!
Max's jumps on Sally and a cartoon ball of dust surrounds them as they ride around the kitchen. Autumn and Robert are trying to say things to calm them down. They ruin the kitchen in the process. After a while Max has one foot on Sally's chest. They’re both grunting and trying to rip the tickets out of the other hand, eventually they both rip ¾ tickets and all the tickets and wallet fall on the ground. Max picks up his wallet.
Max: Because you ruined dinner we are getting pizza, and you can’t come! Let's go mom and dad.
The three of them walk out of the door to leave Sally lying there. She gets off her back and sits down and looks at the broken pieces of paper and the one ticket in tack. Sally starts to form an idea. Cut to the middle of the night and we see Robert and Autumn in bed sleeping. There's noises in the background, like chairs being dragged across the ground. With every sound Autumn twitches and opens one eye. Autumn gets up and walks down stairs and sees Sally alone in the dark with several suitcases on the ground filled to the brim. Sally is putting a bunch of chairs on top of each other.
Autumn: Sally, what are you doing here in the dark?
Sally:*Mad and flustered*What are you doing here?! Go back to your room!
Autumn: Can you at least give me an answer, then I’ll leave.
Sally:(Crosses arms)I’m-I’m running away
Autumn: Why?!
Sally: You said you’d go to your room.
Autumn: I can’t leave now! When did this start? Why do you feel like you need to leave?
Autumn sits on one of the suitcases nearby Sally.
Sally:*Deep breath*WELL ME, APRIL, AND MOLLY WAS AT THE FAIR AND SAID AND WE WANTED TO GO TO A FUTURE TELLER AND THEY SAID I WAS GOING TO BE A REALLY BORING ADULT AND HAVE MEAN AND BAD KIDS AND BE REALLY SAD AND I HAD A DREAM THAT WAS LIKE THAT AND PEOPLE HATED ME AND EVERYONE WAS HAVING FUN AND I WAS THE ONLY BORING ONE AND I JUST DON’T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN SO I’VE BEEN DOING THINGS ALL DAY TO MAKE SURE IN THE FUTURE I’M NOT BORING SO I MADE FRIENDS WITH PEOPLE I DON’T LIKE AND GOT A BOYFRIEND AND JOBS AND AND AND
Autumn: Ok, ok, ok, ok. Can you shorten it?
Sally:*Sad*I don’t want to be bored when I grow up. When I’m older I want to be happy. I don’t want that to go away when I'm an adult.
Autumn:*Thinks to herself for a second*Is Robert boring?
Sally: No.
Autumn: Is Robert unhappy?
Sally: I don’t think so.
Autumn: Then you have a chance to be happy.
Sally: But what if that doesn’t happen? That's why I’m doing this so in the future I’m not sad.
Autumn gently grabs Sally and sits her on her lap.
Autumn: No one can predict the future Sally, you don’t know what's gonna happen, do you mind if I tell you a story.
Sally:*Shakes her head sideways*
Autumn: When I was younger, I thought the exact same thing.
The setting we were in fades away and cuts to a younger Autumn at the age of 13 pacing back and forth in her room, she looks stressed and tired. She's in front of a gigantic white board with sticky notes, pictures, red lines connected to thumb tacks, and random doodles.
Autumn:(Offscreen) when I turned 13 I started to get scared that I was becoming more and more of an adult and tried to prevent it.
Autumn 13:OK so if I choose this as a side job and if I volunteer I might make some cool friends, OH! I can learn this as a talent, or maybe I can do this, or this, how about all 3!
Autumn:(Offscreen)People would invite me places and I would just turn them down.
As she says this, a 13 year old her is outside a door and others point outside with smiles on their faces, her and the people are all black silhouette. She shakes her head and closes the door and the smiles turn to frown.
Autumn:(Offscreen)I did so many jobs and had so many friends that I hated being around I just became miserable.
As she says this 13 year old silhouette Autumn is working as a cook, a gymnast, party planner, and is talking to a group of people. She looks miserable in all the pictures. We cut to Autumn still sitting with Sally.
Autumn: It took 3 years for me to realize I've just been, wasting time, I don't want that for you Sally.
Sally thinks for a good second then grabs onto Autumn and hugs her tightly. She looks like she's about to cry.
Sally: So when I'm grown I can still like video games?
Autumn:(Patting Sally’s back with a sweet smile)Yes Sally.
Sally: And TV?
Autumn: Yes Sally.
Sally: And I don’t have to read boring books and not know what fun stuff is like you?
Autumn:(Still patting Sally but looks and sounds more annoyed because of Sally's comment)Yes Sally.
Sally squeezes Autumn tighter and Autumn goes back to her smiling face.
Autumn: Come on, let's put your stuff back.
The scene fades to black and fades to the next morning. All that is seen is Molly's fist about to knock on Sally's front door, her fist shaking clearly hesitant to knock. Cut to April sanding behind Molly.
April: We played rock paper seizures shoot, you can't back out now.
Molly: I won't, I just scared that Sally became crazier or something.
Sally opens the door before Molly can knock, she has a big bright smile on her face!
April: Sally dear! Do you feel better after…yesterday?
Sally: I sure do! Can't believe I got so worked up over that.
Molly and April give out a sigh of relief.
Sally: Hey guys, there's a new trampoline park, it's pretty close too, we could walk there.
Molly and April: Yeah let's go!
Sally dashes past them and is on the sidewalk walking down the street.
Sally: Come on you two, we have no time to waste.
April and Molly join Sally down the street and they continue to walk as the screen fades to black
The End
