A While ago; I Shared my FAVORITE Types of Plots; and asked you guys which ones were your favorites; Now I'm going to share the exact opposite; my LEAST Favorite types of Plots in Fiction & Media; and Ask you guys for your at the end; with that out of the way; here are MY Least Favorite types of Plots in Fiction & Media:
1. Plots that have Bad Morals & Harmful Messages; Basically Like in Family Guy; with how it says ITS A-OK to Stay in an abusive Relationship Solely for the abuser's Benefit; or Teen Titans Go; with "Books are Dangerous"; Or "it's ok to use Music as a crutch to do anything at all"; which is ALL COMPLETE & TOTAL BS; as I can do MANY things without needing Music to do it; Heck; I even Do the Laundry without needing to listen to music in order to do it [as a Result; THAT is Why I Hate that Episode of TTG, Which SOMEHOW got an Admirable Animation from Mr. E years ago; in spite of its BS moral that made me hate the episode in the first place]
2. Owner Gets New Pet/baby/etc; Newcomer causes trouble; Old mainstay gets the blame for it; Like Mr. E said in his Top 10 Worst Episodes of Spongebob List; "It is a Plot that Does not work; that in all of art & media; has always been nothing but complete garbage"; & "It's not funny; It's never been funny; you cannot make it funny; it does not work"; "It's Mean-spirited, Unpleasent, not fun to watch; and Despite all of this; it is one of the most cliche plots imaginable; It's So Cliche; everything I just used to describe the problems with this plot are considered cliches in & of themselves" [Honestly; If Only there was a Plot; where instead of the old mainstay getting the blame for all the mess the newcomer causes; The Owner Being Genre Savvy; and having seen this plot COUNTLESS Times on tv; Realizes that it WASN'T their old faithful companion making that mess immediately; and Realizes that it was the Newcomer right from the get-go; and then the episode goes into a completely different direction; where they try & catch the troublemaker; and yet due to comical shenanigans; they make an even bigger mess trying to catch it; and for most of the episode they cannot get the newcomer to leave; until either via some deus ex machina at the very end or by sheer luck & determination; they finally send it back to the shelter it came from and get that pest out of the house; and we never see that pest again for the rest of the series]
But What is your least favorite type of Plot in Fiction & in all of Media?
